So today Sarah Palin and John McCain were in Cedar Rapids, IA. Sarah was a little confused geographically since she thought she was in Grand Rapids. Nevertheless, she was enthusiastically telling everyone what a Palin-McCain Administration would accomplish. Did I miss something? When did she become the Presidential nominee?
If this is a nightmare, someone PLEASE wake me up!

Yes, it's a nightmare. Worse nightmare is half of those polled are leaning toward McCain/Palin.
This is the first time since 1980 that the Republican and Democrat policies and approaches are so dramatically different. The American public seems completely fractured. If neither Presidential candidate receives a clear and definitive majority, the President will govern without a mandate from the people.
Stakes are high in this election, and it could go either way.
